On the afternoon of September 14, the Wuxi University International Ambassadors of our university were invited to attend the "Moonlit Joy, Gathering at Taihu"—the 2024 Mid-Autumn Festival theme event, held at the Zhou Xinli Xitai Square in the Wuxi Economic Development Zone.

The event kicked off with our international ambassadors from Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Morocco, and Pakistan, who donned traditional Chinese Hanfu. This gave them a deep appreciation for the ancient elegance and unique charm of Chinese clothing. They then wandered through the lively Mid-Autumn market, fully immersing themselves in traditional cultural activities such as throwing pots, ring toss, and solving lantern riddles.

During an on-site interview, the students expressed that this was their first time experiencing the wonderful atmosphere of China’s traditional festival celebrations. Having always held a deep interest in Chinese traditional culture, they saw each festival as an excellent opportunity to delve deeper into learning about China.

These activities further strengthened their connection with China’s rich cultural heritage, helping them understand China from a folk culture perspective, and making it easier for them to integrate into their life and studies in China.
